Use a standard deck of 52 cards
Deal 7 cards to each player if there are 2 to 3 players
Deal 5 cards to each player if there are 4 to 6 players
Place the remaining cards face down in the middle as the draw pile
Decide who goes first
On your turn, choose one player and ask for a specific rank of card
You must already have at least one card of that rank in your hand
If the player has any cards of that rank, they must give all of them to you
If the player does not have that rank, they say “Go fish”
Draw the top card from the pile when told to go fish
If the card you draw matches the rank you asked for, you get another turn
If it does not match, your turn ends
Whenever you collect 4 cards of the same rank, place them face up as a completed set
Keep taking turns until all sets are made or the draw pile is empty
The game ends when no cards remain in hands and no cards remain in the draw pile
The player with the most completed sets wins
