Go to your profile or traveler information
Enter your Known Traveler Number in the TSA PreCheck or Secure Flight section
Save your changes
Add your KTN when booking a new flight if prompted
Make sure the name on your reservation matches your TSA PreCheck enrollment exactly
Check your boarding pass after check-in for the TSA PreCheck indicator
Contact American Airlines if your KTN does not appear on your reservation
Update each upcoming reservation with your KTN if needed
