Park the vehicle on level ground facing a flat wall or garage door
Check tire pressure and ensure the vehicle is unloaded
Measure the headlight height from the ground to the center of each headlight
Mark the same height on the wall with tape
Back the vehicle up to the recommended distance, usually 10 to 25 feet
Turn on the low beams
Locate the vertical and horizontal adjustment screws on each headlight assembly
Adjust the vertical aim so the top of the beam cutoff is at or slightly below the tape line
Adjust the horizontal aim so the beam centers are aligned correctly and do not point outward
Repeat for both headlights
Verify the beams are level and symmetrical
Test the headlights on a dark road
Make small final adjustments if needed
