Use the correct tool for the head type if needed
Turn the adjustment screw clockwise to reduce spray distance
Turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise to increase spray distance
Rotate the nozzle or head body to change spray direction
Adjust the arc setting to widen or narrow the spray pattern
Raise or lower the head if it is set at the wrong height
Clear dirt, grass, or debris from around the head
Replace damaged nozzles or broken heads
Test the sprinkler again after each adjustment
Repeat until all areas are covered evenly without overspray
