1/2 cup brown mustard seeds
1/4 cup yellow mustard seeds
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1 to 2 teaspoons honey or sugar
Soak the mustard seeds in the wine and vinegar for 24 hours
Blend the soaked seeds with the onion, garlic, salt, pepper, turmeric, and honey or sugar
Add a little water if needed to reach the desired consistency
Transfer to a jar and refrigerate for 2 to 3 days before using
