Use acetaminophen (Tylenol) and ibuprofen only if your child is old enough and your pediatrician says it is okay

Give only one medicine at a time

Give the first medicine at the correct dose based on your child’s weight

Give the second medicine at the correct dose based on your child’s weight

Continue alternating every 3 hours if needed
