How To Bake Macarons?

Gather ingredients: almond flour, powdered sugar, egg whites, granulated sugar, and food coloring if desired

Sift almond flour and powdered sugar together

Whip egg whites until foamy

Gradually add granulated sugar and beat until stiff peaks form

Add food coloring if using

Fold the dry ingredients into the meringue until the batter flows like lava

Transfer batter to a piping bag

Pipe small circles onto a lined baking sheet

Tap the tray firmly to release air bubbles

Let the macarons rest until a skin forms on top

Preheat the oven to 300°F to 325°F

Bake until the shells are set and do not wobble

Let the shells cool completely before removing

Fill with ganache, buttercream, or jam

Sandwich matching shells together

Refrigerate before serving for best texture
