Knit the first two stitches.
Insert the left needle into the first stitch on the right needle.
Lift the first stitch over the second stitch and off the needle.
Knit one more stitch.
Lift the previous stitch over the new stitch and off the needle.
Repeat knitting one stitch and lifting the prior stitch over it until one stitch remains.
Cut the yarn, leaving a tail.
Pull the tail through the last stitch and tighten.
