Measure the tank’s internal length, width, and height in meters
Calculate volume in cubic meters using: Length × Width × Height
Convert cubic meters to liters using: Cubic meters × 1000
For a cylindrical tank, use: π × radius² × height
Convert the cylindrical volume to liters by multiplying by 1000
For a spherical tank, use: 4/3 × π × radius³
Convert the spherical volume to liters by multiplying by 1000
For a rectangular tank, use: Length × Width × Height × 1000
For an irregular tank, divide it into simple shapes, calculate each volume, then add them together
Use all measurements in the same unit before calculating
Subtract any internal obstructions or unusable space if needed
