How To Change A Wheel Bearing?

Park on a flat surface and secure the vehicle

Loosen the lug nuts

Raise the vehicle with a jack

Support the vehicle with jack stands

Remove the wheel

Remove the brake caliper

Remove the brake rotor

Remove the hub assembly or axle nut, if required

Disconnect any ABS sensor or related hardware

Remove the old wheel bearing

Clean the mounting surface

Install the new wheel bearing

Reinstall the hub, rotor, and caliper

Reconnect any sensors or hardware

Reinstall the wheel

Lower the vehicle

Tighten the lug nuts to specification

Test drive and check for noise or looseness
