Open the Diaper Genie lid
Remove the used bag from the refill ring or cartridge
Tie off the full bag securely
Pull out the new bag from the refill
Feed the new bag through the center opening and down into the pail
Leave enough slack at the top for future diaper disposal
Close the lid
Cut the bag if needed, following the built-in cutter or instructions for your model
Tie the bottom of the bag if required
Replace the refill ring or cartridge if applicable
Check that the bag is seated properly before use
