Turn off the shower
Remove the old shower head by turning it counterclockwise
Use a cloth or wrench if it is stuck
Clean the shower arm threads
Remove old plumber’s tape if present
Wrap new plumber’s tape clockwise around the threads
Screw on the new shower head by turning it clockwise
Tighten it by hand
Use a cloth or wrench to snug it gently if needed
Turn on the water and check for leaks
Adjust or retighten if necessary
