Turn off power to the dishwasher circuit at the breaker
Turn off the water supply valve under the sink
Remove the dishwasher from the packaging and inspect all parts
Connect the drain hose to the dishwasher
Route the drain hose to the sink drain, garbage disposal, or air gap
Secure the drain hose with a clamp
Connect the water supply line to the dishwasher inlet valve
Tighten the water supply connection with a wrench
Connect the electrical supply according to the dishwasher type
Wire the dishwasher to the junction box or plug it into the outlet
Secure the ground wire if required
Slide the dishwasher into the cabinet opening
Level the dishwasher using the adjustable feet
Fasten the dishwasher to the countertop or cabinet sides
Connect the drain hose to the drain fitting
Turn on the water supply and check for leaks
Restore power at the breaker
Run a test cycle to confirm proper operation
