Lift the wiper arms away from the windshield
Note the wiper blade type (hook-style, bayonet-style, or J-hook) before removing
Turn the wiper to the “off” position and remove the key from the ignition (if applicable)
If blades are stuck, gently reposition the arm and wiggle the blade at the connection point
Release the old blade
For hook-style: press the tab on the blade connector and slide the blade off the hook
For bayonet-style: lift the locking tab and rotate/pull the blade off the arm
For J-hook: press the release clip and pull the blade straight off the hook
Remove the old blade from the wiper arm
Align the new blade with the wiper arm connector
Slide or snap the new blade onto the connector until it locks
For hook-style: push until the connector clicks into place
For bayonet-style: align the tabs and rotate/push until it locks
For J-hook: push until the clip engages
Lower the wiper arms back onto the windshield carefully
Test operation by turning the wipers on briefly
Verify smooth movement and full contact across the windshield
Repeat on the other side if needed
