Open Instagram and go to your profile
Tap Followers to view your follower list
Compare your current followers with a previous list or screenshot
Check your Following list to see if the person still follows you
Search the user’s profile and look for the Follow button instead of Following
Use a third-party follower tracking app if you choose, but review its privacy and security first
Check Instagram notifications or activity history if you recently noticed a change
Ask a mutual friend to confirm if needed
