Empty the washing machine
Add 2 cups of white vinegar to the detergent dispenser or directly into the drum
Set the machine to the hottest, longest cycle
Start the wash cycle and let it run completely
Wipe down the drum, door, gasket, and detergent drawer with a clean cloth
Run an extra rinse cycle with plain water if needed
Leave the door open to let the machine dry
Clean the detergent drawer separately with vinegar and water if needed
Repeat monthly to help prevent buildup and odors
