How To Clean Blackstone After Cooking?

Turn off the grill and let it cool slightly (so it’s warm, not hot).

Scrape the cooking surface with a Blackstone scraper to remove food debris.

Wipe away loosened residue with paper towels or a clean cloth.

While the surface is still warm, pour a small amount of water (or use a damp cloth) to help lift remaining bits.

Scrub with a Blackstone-approved cleaning brush or non-metal scrub pad.

Wipe the surface dry completely.

Apply Blackstone Griddle Seasoning/Protectant or a thin coat of cooking oil.

Spread oil evenly with a paper towel.

Heat briefly until the surface looks glossy.

Turn off the grill.

Wipe off excess oil if needed.

Clean the grease trap and empty it as required.

Wipe down exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and dry.

Cover the griddle when fully cool.
