Vacuum the carpet thoroughly to remove loose dirt and debris
Move furniture and clear the area
Check the carpet cleaner instructions and fill the tank with water and cleaning solution
Test the cleaner on a small hidden area first
Start at the farthest corner of the room and work toward the exit
Pull the cleaner slowly over the carpet in straight, overlapping passes
Make a second pass without spraying to remove excess moisture
Empty and refill the dirty water tank as needed
Let the carpet dry completely before walking on it
Replace furniture only after the carpet is fully dry
Vacuum the carpet again once it is dry to lift the fibers
