Remove laces
Brush off loose dirt with a soft brush
Wipe the boots with a damp cloth
Use mild soap or leather cleaner on a cloth for stubborn dirt
Clean the welt and seams with a soft brush or cotton swab
Wipe away soap residue with a clean damp cloth
Dry with a towel
Let the boots air dry away from direct heat or sunlight
Apply leather conditioner if the boots are leather
Use suede cleaner and a suede brush if the boots are suede
Reinsert clean, dry laces
Polish leather boots if desired
Store in a cool, dry place
