Turn off the Dyson V8 and remove it from the charger
Empty the bin
Remove the wand, cleaner head, and any attachments
Wipe the outside of the machine with a dry or slightly damp cloth
Wash the bin with cold water only
Rinse the bin until the water runs clear
Leave the bin to dry completely for at least 24 hours
Remove hair and debris from the brush bar
Clean the cleaner head and remove any blockages
Check the wand, hose, and inlet for blockages
Clean the filter with cold water only
Rinse the filter until the water runs clear
Squeeze out excess water from the filter
Leave the filter to dry completely for at least 24 hours
Refit all parts only when fully dry
Do not use detergents, bleach, or a dishwasher
Do not put any part in a tumble dryer or near direct heat
