Unplug the washing machine
Remove all laundry from the drum
Wipe the door glass and rubber gasket with a damp cloth
Check and clean the gasket folds for lint, hair, and debris
Remove and rinse the detergent drawer
Clean the detergent drawer compartment with a cloth or brush
Clean the drain pump filter
Run a hot empty cycle with washing machine cleaner or white vinegar
Wipe the drum and door seal after the cycle
Leave the door open to air dry
Leave the detergent drawer slightly open to dry
Clean the exterior with a damp cloth
Repeat monthly or as needed
