How To Clean Humidifier?

Unplug the humidifier and empty any remaining water

Disassemble the unit into its main parts (tank, lid/cap, base, filter if applicable)

Wash the parts with warm water

Use a soft brush or microfiber cloth to remove visible mineral buildup

Fill the tank with a 1:1 mixture of white vinegar and water

Let the tank soak for 30–60 minutes

For heavy scale, soak longer as needed

Scrub the inside surfaces with a soft brush

Rinse thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone

Clean the base/housing with a damp cloth; avoid soaking electrical components

If the base has mineral deposits, wipe with vinegar and water, then wipe again with clean water

If the humidifier has a filter, follow the manufacturer instructions (do not soak unless the label allows it)

If the filter is washable, rinse gently and let it dry completely

Empty and rinse the reservoir and any removable parts again after soaking

Dry all parts completely with a clean towel or by air-drying

Reassemble only when fully dry

Replace the water daily and keep the unit dry between uses
