Unplug the Instant Pot and let it cool completely
Remove the inner pot, sealing ring, steam rack, and anti-block shield
Wash the inner pot, lid, steam rack, and sealing ring with warm soapy water
Rinse all removable parts thoroughly
Wipe the exterior and control panel with a damp cloth
Clean the condensation collector and empty it
Check and clean the steam release valve and float valve
Remove any food residue from the lid and rim
Dry all parts completely before reassembling
Reinstall the sealing ring and other removable parts
Clean the sealing ring separately if it holds odors
Run a steam-clean cycle with water and lemon if needed
Avoid submerging the base unit in water
Avoid using abrasive pads or harsh cleaners
