How To Clean iPhone Charging Port?

Power off the iPhone

Inspect the charging port with bright light

If lint is visible, use a non-metal tool (plastic toothpick or wooden/bamboo pick) to gently remove debris

If lint is stubborn, use compressed air in short bursts from a safe distance

Use a soft, dry, anti-static brush to dislodge particles

If needed, lightly dampen a cotton swab with 70% isopropyl alcohol and gently wipe the inside of the port

Allow the port to fully dry before charging (at least 10–30 minutes)

Avoid metal objects (pins, needles, paperclips) and avoid scraping aggressively

Do not use water, household cleaners, or bleach

Do not blow with your mouth into the port

Stop if you feel resistance or see damage

If the port is still dirty or damaged, contact Apple Support or an authorized service provider
