Unplug the fan
Turn the fan off and let it cool
Move the fan to a dry, open area
Remove the front or rear grille if your model allows it
Use a vacuum with a brush attachment to remove dust from vents and grilles
Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth
Use a dry microfiber cloth to clean remaining dust
Clean the blades or internal surfaces only if accessible and allowed by the manual
Use a cotton swab or soft brush for tight areas
Avoid getting water inside the fan
Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners
Dry all parts completely before reassembling
Reattach any removed parts securely
Plug the fan back in only after everything is fully dry
