Unplug the tower fan
Remove the front or rear grill if possible
Vacuum dust from the exterior vents and grill openings
Use a soft brush to loosen dust from hard-to-reach areas
Wipe the outside with a slightly damp microfiber cloth
Clean removable grill parts with mild soap and water
Dry all parts completely before reassembly
Use compressed air to blow dust from internal openings
Clean the blades only if they are accessible and the manual allows it
Reassemble the fan
Plug it back in and test it
Clean the fan regularly to prevent buildup
