Turn off and unplug the washing machine
Remove all laundry from the drum
Clean the detergent drawer and compartments with warm water
Wipe the door, gasket, and drum with a soft cloth
Run the Tub Clean or Drum Clean cycle if available
Add washing machine cleaner or bleach as recommended by the manual
Leave the door open after cleaning to let the drum dry
Clean the lint filter or drain pump filter if your model has one
Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth
Repeat the cleaning cycle regularly according to the user manual
