Unplug the washer
Remove all laundry from the drum
Wipe the door, gasket, and detergent drawer with a damp cloth
Clean the detergent drawer with warm water and mild soap
Run an empty hot cycle with washer cleaner or white vinegar
Run a second empty rinse cycle
Wipe the drum dry after the cycle
Clean the lint filter or drain filter if your washer has one
Leave the door or lid open to air dry
Repeat monthly or as needed
