Unplug the washing machine
Remove all laundry from the drum
Wipe the drum, door, and rubber gasket with a damp cloth
Clean the detergent drawer and rinse it with warm water
Remove lint, dirt, and residue from the filter
Run a hot wash cycle with a washing machine cleaner or white vinegar
Use the Drum Clean or Self Clean cycle if your Samsung model has it
Leave the door open after cleaning to let the drum dry
Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth
Clean the drain pump filter if your model has one
Check and clean the water inlet filters if needed
