How To Clean Mouse Pad?

Check the care label for any manufacturer-specific instructions

Unplug and remove the mouse from the pad

If it’s a cloth pad: shake out loose debris over a trash can

Brush off crumbs gently with a soft brush or your fingers

For spot cleaning: mix mild dish soap with lukewarm water

Lightly dampen a clean cloth or sponge with the soapy water

Blot the stained areas gently, working from the outside of the stain inward

Rinse the cloth/sponge and wipe to remove soap residue

For deeper cleaning (cloth): soak the pad in a shallow tub of lukewarm water with a few drops of mild dish soap for 15–30 minutes

Gently scrub with a soft brush or sponge, focusing on stained or worn areas

Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until no soap remains

For rubberized/underside: avoid soaking the non-textile backing if it’s not meant to be wet

Dry flat on a towel with good airflow

Press lightly with a dry towel to remove excess water

Allow to fully air-dry completely before use (do not use a hair dryer or heat source)

If it’s a hard plastic/metal pad: wipe with a microfiber cloth dampened with mild soapy water

Rinse with lukewarm water and wipe dry with a microfiber cloth

Remove residue by wiping again with a cloth dampened with clean water

Dry fully before use

For stubborn grime: use a 1:1 mixture of water and white vinegar on stained areas, then rinse thoroughly

Avoid soaking pads with stitched edges for long periods

Avoid bleach, harsh solvents, and abrasive scrubbers

Do not machine wash or tumble dry unless the label explicitly allows it

Store only after the pad is completely dry
