Find a horse in the Overworld
Hold an empty hand
Right-click or tap the horse to mount it
Keep trying to stay on the horse until hearts appear
If the horse bucks you off, remount it and try again
Feed the horse apples, wheat, sugar, hay bales, or golden carrots to help
Open the horse’s inventory after taming
Equip a saddle to control the horse
Equip horse armor if desired
