Remove solid waste into the toilet
Rinse the diaper if needed
Store used diapers in a dry pail or wet bag
Wash diapers every 1 to 2 days
Use a detergent that is safe for cloth diapers
Wash on a hot or warm cycle
Add an extra rinse if needed
Avoid fabric softener and bleach unless the manufacturer allows it
Dry diapers according to the care instructions
Sun-dry to help remove stains if possible
Check for lingering odor or buildup after washing
