Gather supplies: glass cleaner (or white vinegar), microfiber cloths, squeegee, soft scrub sponge or non-scratch pad, baking soda (optional), razor scraper (optional), rubber gloves (optional)
Ventilate the area and put on gloves if desired
Rinse the shower glass with warm water to remove loose dirt and soap residue
Spray glass cleaner (or vinegar diluted with equal parts water) on the glass
Let cleaner sit 2–5 minutes for best results
Wipe with a microfiber cloth to loosen residue
Scrub spots with a non-scratch sponge or non-scratch pad
For hard water spots or heavy buildup: make a paste of baking soda and water, apply to spots, gently scrub, then rinse
Use a squeegee from top to bottom to remove cleaner and water
Wipe edges, corners, and any remaining streaks with a dry microfiber cloth
Rinse again if needed, then dry fully to prevent new spots
Clean regularly (light clean after each use or weekly deep clean) to reduce buildup
For streak-free results: avoid paper towels and use only microfiber cloths
If residue persists: repeat the vinegar step or use a dedicated glass/limescale remover labeled for shower doors, then rinse and dry thoroughly
For safety: avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool, and harsh chemicals that can damage coatings or frames
