Wash hands with warm water and soap
Soak nails briefly to soften dirt
Use a soft nail brush to scrub under nails
Gently clean under nails with a wooden or rubber cuticle stick
Use a clean nail file edge if needed, very lightly
Rinse hands thoroughly
Dry hands and nails completely
Trim nails regularly to reduce buildup
Clean tools before and after use
Avoid digging under nails with sharp objects
