Empty the pipe
Rinse with hot water
Add isopropyl alcohol to a sealable bag or container
Add coarse salt
Place the pipe in the solution
Shake gently
Let it soak if needed
Use pipe cleaners or cotton swabs to scrub residue
Rinse thoroughly with hot water
Repeat if necessary
Let it dry completely before use
