Turn off the TV and Spectrum DVR receiver box
Connect the receiver box to the TV using an HDMI cable
Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI OUT port on the receiver box
Plug the other end of the HDMI cable into an HDMI IN port on the TV
If using component or composite cables, connect each cable to the matching color-coded ports on both devices
Connect the receiver box to a power outlet
Turn on the TV and the receiver box
Select the correct HDMI or input source on the TV
Follow any on-screen setup prompts if they appear
Test the picture and sound to confirm the connection works
