Turn on the HP printer
Connect the printer to power
Make sure the printer is ready
Connect the printer to Wi-Fi or USB
On the printer, open the Wireless or Network settings
Select your Wi-Fi network
Enter the Wi-Fi password
Confirm the connection
Install the HP Smart app on your device
Open HP Smart
Add the printer in HP Smart
Follow the on-screen setup steps
If using USB, connect the USB cable to the printer and computer
Install the printer driver if prompted
Print a test page to confirm the connection
