Turn on the Wii console
Open the battery cover on the Wii Remote
Insert fresh batteries if needed
Open the SD card slot cover on the front of the Wii console
Press the red SYNC button on the Wii console
Press the red SYNC button inside the Wii Remote battery compartment
Wait for the lights on the Wii Remote to stop flashing
Confirm the player LED stays lit
Repeat the sync steps for additional Wii Remotes
If using a Wii MotionPlus accessory, attach it before syncing
If the controller does not connect, replace the batteries and try again
