Check your Wii system menu version
Prepare an SD card formatted as FAT32
Download the LetterBomb exploit for your Wii’s MAC address and system menu version
Copy the LetterBomb files to the root of the SD card
Insert the SD card into the Wii
Open the Wii Message Board
Find and open the red LetterBomb message
Install the Homebrew Channel when prompted
Install BootMii if available
Make a NAND backup with BootMii
Keep the SD card with your homebrew files for future use
