Turn on the wireless mouse
Insert batteries if needed
Plug the USB receiver into a laptop USB port if the mouse uses one
Turn on the mouse power switch
Press the mouse pairing button if it has one
Open the laptop Bluetooth settings if the mouse is Bluetooth
Turn on Bluetooth on the laptop
Put the mouse in pairing mode
Select the mouse from the list of available devices
Confirm pairing if prompted
Move the mouse to test the connection
Restart the mouse or laptop if it does not connect
Replace batteries or charge the mouse if needed
