If your blood pressure is 180/120 or higher, call emergency services if you have chest pain, shortness of breath, severe headache, confusion, weakness, vision changes, or trouble speaking
If your blood pressure stays very high without symptoms, contact a doctor or urgent care immediately
Do not take extra doses of blood pressure medicine unless a clinician tells you to
Do not use over-the-counter decongestants, stimulants, or NSAIDs unless approved by a doctor
