Preheat the oven to 400°F to 425°F
Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts
Remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves
Cut larger Brussels sprouts in half
Place the Brussels sprouts in a bowl
Add olive oil, salt, and black pepper
Toss until evenly coated
Spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet
Place cut side down for better browning
Roast for 20 to 30 minutes
Flip once halfway through if desired
Roast until tender and browned
Serve immediately
