Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels
Trim excess fat if needed
Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and any preferred spices
Lightly coat with oil or cooking spray
Preheat air fryer to 380°F
Place chicken thighs in a single layer in the air fryer basket
Cook for 18 to 22 minutes for boneless thighs
Cook for 22 to 28 minutes for bone-in thighs
Flip halfway through cooking
Check internal temperature with a meat thermometer
Remove when the thickest part reaches 165°F
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving
