How To Cook Crawfish?

Rinse live crawfish thoroughly in cool water

Purge and sort out any dead crawfish

Fill a large pot with water

Add salt and seasoning to the water

Add optional ingredients like lemon, garlic, onions, potatoes, corn, and sausage

Bring the water to a rolling boil

Add the crawfish to the boiling water

Return to a boil and cook for about 3 to 5 minutes

Turn off the heat

Let the crawfish soak in the seasoned water for 15 to 30 minutes

Drain the crawfish

Serve hot with the cooked sides
