Separate the egg whites from the yolks
Whisk the egg whites until slightly frothy if desired
Heat a nonstick pan over medium-low heat
Add a small amount of butter or oil if needed
Pour the egg whites into the pan
Cook undisturbed until the edges set
Stir gently for scrambled egg whites, or leave still for an omelet-style cook
Continue cooking until the whites are fully opaque and no longer runny
Remove from the heat
Season as desired
Serve immediately
