Cut potatoes into evenly sized fries
Soak cut potatoes in cold water for 20 to 30 minutes
Drain and dry the potatoes thoroughly
Toss the fries with a small amount of oil
Add salt and any desired seasonings
Place fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket
Cook for 15 to 25 minutes
Shake the basket halfway through cooking
Cook in batches if needed
Check for crispness and cook a few minutes longer if needed
Serve immediately after cooking
