Preheat the air fryer to 400°F
Add frozen French fries to the air fryer basket in a single layer
Lightly spray with oil if desired
Cook for 10–15 minutes
Shake the basket halfway through cooking
Cook a few minutes longer for extra crispiness
Remove when golden brown and crispy
Season immediately with salt or preferred seasoning
