Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C)
Wash the kale and dry it completely
Remove the tough stems and tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces
Place the kale in a bowl
Drizzle with a small amount of olive oil
Toss until the leaves are lightly coated
Add salt and any desired seasonings
Spread the kale in a single layer on a baking sheet
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes
Check frequently to prevent burning
Remove when the edges are crisp and the leaves are lightly browned
Let cool before serving
