Preheat the oven to 400°F
Rinse and drain canned chickpeas
Pat chickpeas completely dry
Remove loose skins if desired
Toss chickpeas with oil
Add salt and any seasonings
Spread chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet
Roast for 20 to 30 minutes
Shake or stir the pan halfway through
Roast until golden and crisp
Let cool before serving
