How To Cook Lobster Tail In Oven?

Preheat oven to 425°F

Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment

Pat lobster tails dry

Use kitchen shears to cut the top shell lengthwise down the center

Gently loosen the meat from the shell

Lift the meat and rest it on top of the shell

Brush the lobster meat with melted butter

Season with salt, pepper, garlic, or paprika if desired

Place lobster tails on the baking sheet

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and firm

Check that the internal temperature reaches 140°F to 145°F

Remove from oven

Serve immediately with melted butter and lemon if desired
